Scott Crossfield, the first man to brake Mach2, was killed today in a plane crash in Ga. Chuck Yaeger broke the sound barrier earlier, but Crossfield broke Mach2 going Mach2.97.

Crossfield 84 was flying a Cessna210 when he crashed. One of our heroes with "The Right Stuff" has left us.
