I don't think it's a cutscene, you can do w/e combat duties a rio can. I don't know I haven't reached this level yet, can't wait to get past the boring fps levels and reach here  but I have very limited time. Nothin will ever beat lockon, FA, or f15 sims ofc.

I have tons of stability issues with BF3. It's froze on me several times. It's very disappointing. Also Origin is like the worst game client ever. |

I dont know which is worse, climbing into an f-18 that is already on the cat or the fact they walked out onto the deck with their helmets off, which would have blown their hearing away... |

Considering it's Battlefield, I wasn't expecting too much realism and was actually laughing during the carrier scene. I'm still enjoying it more than MW3. |
