Haven't you ever read a war story? or at the very least seen a war movie? You should know how heated things get. You can never be overly cautious when dealing with your life.......

For all those guys knew that camera could have been an RPG.

Anyway the Iraqis would give their tank positions away to Allied aircraft in GW1 because of the sand mounds they dug around their tanks in an attempt to hide them from ground forces.

However from the air that simply was a ring that illuminated the target........I suspect the Iraqis did the same thing again in GW2.......

Remember the story of the M1 firing at the T-72 through the sand-dune, blowing off its turret, even before the T-72 saw the M1 and all they could spot was the tippy top of the T-72s turret.

M1 is just the KING of the battlefield...

I didn't say their strategy worked

Anyway- the M1 can hit targets way out of the T-72s envelope. They can aquire and shoot blow them up before the T-72s know where they are, and even if they do know- their shells can't reach the M-1s

that's awesome........

You can't put a dent in that thing with your fist.........maybe an atomic bomb, but definatley not your fist

Dude man I think it'd take an atomic bomb or a GBU-28 to destroy the tank. In Iraqi Freedom on became disabled and they dropped a 2000 lb. LGB on it to kill the sensitive equippment and the sob was still in 1 piece!

I climbed up on one of those things at a recent airshow............wearing shorts.........

It's kinda hard to get up on those things without getting on your knees. That metal is rough...........scraped my knees big time...........

I don't advise climbing up on one of those things without wearing long pants.........

Yeah one of the freshman on my floor this year was in the ARMY. He was a loader on an M1 and long-story short, he slipped off, broke his leg, got discharged.
