Big you are at it again! Plese do a reasonable amount of research before you boust about how tough the Warthog is!
In case you did not know we have lost several in Iraqi Freedom to ground fire and even more to SAMs, plus several writeoffs after landing due to the excessive amount of gunfire damage..
http://www.militarycity.com/iraq/1752664.htmlhttp://www.a-10.org/video/_oif_damaged_hog.aviOh shut up with all this "holier than thou" crap. Your saying that the A-10 has no kind of protective armor?
You think that A-10s are super vulnerable? Well, what you're saying is nothing new. I never once said that the A-10 was invulnerable, nor did I imply it. I simply said they have more armor and protection than any other US war plane.

Look at all these bullet wounds, and yet the A-10 still made it back safely. It's a true testament to the Hog, this is one tough plane.
Here's an account of a damaged A-10 from OP.I.F. landing safely-

http://www.a-10.org/desert_storm.htmlThese articles and pics prove that the A-10 can take some heat and make it back safely. By posting articles about downed A-10s- I don't know what you're trying to prove.

BTW KAP- AAA aint much of a threat to the A-10. What with its super titanium armor, and bullet-proof glass. Those things can fly at tree-top level, have limited A2A capability, and it's one of the only aircraft in the world actually built AROUND the gun!
This is what I said- notice I never once said that it was invulnerable. This plane can take a lot of heat. And you really should quit telling people to do more research until you have heard their next reply.
