sorry. Let me say it this way, if your country was threatened by say more terrorists or this time threatened by a nation. Would you pledge allegiance and defend it by joining the army, navy, airforce or marines?

Perhaps, but people have their whole life ahead of them to join the military. (Unless they have some kind of medical condition, then they're typically turned away)

I am glad to see that order has been restored between you two..

I did join the military, the USN, and served my country. The difference is that I did it out of duty, not out of a requirement.

Also the US armed forces does indeed ask individuals to join its ranks and advertises daily on our media looking for new recruits...

Okay. SO hopefully you understand where I'm coming from. Young children have their whole life ahead of them but they might not fully know or understand what they are required to say every day in school.

Random,

I personally think you are way out of bounds on this new morphed topic(pledge of allegiance). You are not an American, I think you should keep your opinion about our youth and our pledge to yourself. Perhaps if you worried more about the way things are now in your own country instead of the US then things there would be or could be better...

And Da Big... Things better stay calm, I already informed Zephyr of the way this string was headed so he will be monitoring it now...
