I've heard quite a bit of BS from other people in here as well, yet this is only directed at me.........

When people are debating the merits of aircraft, and you happen to disagree with them, then that does make their arguments BS. However, repeatedly posting one liners about how aircraft should have shot something down, when people are trying to debate the subject in a reasonable manner, is just a waste of time and board space.

Big,

You better take the hint and go back to researching and laying out data to support logical arguements for your thoughts...

Instead of 'pissing off the boss' of the board... Not a good career move. I had to learn that one myself! I hope you can gain from my experience here...

CAG out...

The above was not a "moderator" type post, simply personal opinion that you're not going to convince BT Ace or anyone else otherwise without facts.

What's the point? We've been down this road before, and many similar. And external sources do no good with him, he'll look at it, comment on it, then completely forget that he ever saw it and go back to what he was saying before (it has no effect).

Besides- the fact that the F-15 and F-16 are undefeated is fact enough for me. I just honestly don't see why people think the MiG-29 is so great when it has never scored an aerial kill (to my knowledge).

But a plane is useless without BVR.

when flying against f15s its is in most cases, I agree that the F15 is better. In a conflict against a British fleet for example, the MiG29 could be very successful even nowadays.

I have never said it was o so great. I am just debating the fact that the aicraft is considered to be how would i say it "junk" by some people. It is not "SO GREAT" I have never said that, so get you facts strait.

You never actually said that, but I had a feeling you were implying it.

Back to the original topic, Aviation Week this week quoted a Russian official at the Moscow Air Show as saying the formerly-"Su-34 Platypus's" official designation is Su-32. Also the Russians have taken delivery of 5 Su-27SM upgraded Flankers with increased ATG capability this year. The issue also says that Mil has, after heavy lobbying, edged out the Ka-50 (which had originally won the Mi-24 replacement competition), and hopes to sell ~50 Mi-28N Havocs to the Russian Air Force in several years.
