yeah i think I know what yer sayin Bigs , but a lot of countries (even Brazille) make thier own bombs cause they aint that difficult, plus they arent interesting enough for most to care about so you dont see too much written about plain old bombs.
I can tell you the obviouse, Britten has the BL-755 as it's standard cluster bomb, thier standard iron bombs are the 540lb Mk1/2, and the 1000lb Mks 2,6,7,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16, and 19(I have NO idea what the differance is between them, probobly fuzing) most of which can be fitted with a retarder. The UK tends to use US LGBs.
France uses the Belouga cluster bomb, they also have the BAP and BAT weapons which are a weird sort of cluster pack of several small bombs clipped together, and the BM.400 which is another sort of segmented bomb which comes apart after dropping to act sort of like a cluster weapon. Thier iron bombs are mostly made by SAMP and come in 110,264,551,881,and 2204lb versions. Thier laser bombs are made by Matra and look somewhat like US paveways and come in 882, and 2205lb versions.
Isreal copies French and US iron bombs, For cluster weapons they make the TAL series with different bomblettes inside but they weigh 551lbs. They use the Opher which is like a laser bomb but has an IR seeking head, and they make several families of Laser bombs too, Lizard2 which are like US laser bombs, Lizard3 which has a better nav system to help it hit moving targets (but still a laser bomb), and Griffen and Guillotine bombs which all come in 500,1000, and 2000lb versions and are still laser bombs. The lizards and Opher sets are made by Elbit, and the Griffen and Guillotine sets are made by IAI, but I have NO idea what the differances in all those laser weapons could be.
I have no idea what weapons Japan uses, I assume they are mostly of US origin.
