I've been thinking about this alot lately (how people say they've seen aliens and their ships) and apparently these ships can reach speeds up to 7,000 miles a minute (I talked to someone who had top secret access in the military) and can apparently pull 90degree turns without stopping.... thats the equivalent of pulling 700g's.... now can you tell me how they do that without their little green alien humanoid bodies being rippped to shreds? I've come to the conclusion: they've found a way around inertia... any thoughts on this? Sorry for randomness, I just thought about SPIAPL's post about the Aurora and Zephyr and KAPTOR's pics and it reminded me of stealth technology and what that same military person asked me: "Ed, how do you think we've made such huge advancements in stealth technology? Where do you think we got that from?"

Just curiosity, feel free to call me a nerd if you feel like it :D

awwwww jeeze  you need to stop watching the History channel.

#1 you never talked to anyone with "top secret" clearance, I know all those people and they say they never heard of you.

#2 UFOs ARE real, I've been on the fence about this for several decades but the historicle data ( not the newer "I wanna be on Jerry Springer cause a matian ate my baby" stuff ) has tipped me to the believer side as well as a few personal experiances as well as family sightings going back many years.

#3 there is nothing mysticle about stealth, we've been working on it since 1913 ( a US Army contract to produce an invisible airplane ), it's just the latest form of camoflage. Same goes for LASERs, Microwaves and all the other stuff they talked about on the show you saw that alledged they came from alien sources.

Glad you came to the conclusion about inertia, NASA came to the conclusion that inertia might be overcome and let contracts and study grants to several universities 5 or 6 years ago, nothing new.

7000 miles/min = roughly six hundredths of *one percent* of the speed of light. Way out of our military's league, but not a very impressive showing for aliens. Sheesh, I would think those little green dudes could travel faster than that.

i agree that UFOs are buzzin' our skies. I agree with CAG to a point, id say a good 95% of the stories, footage and sightings of UFOs are bull shit, indefinately. one of the bigger reasons as to why i believe in UFOs however is due to a program i watched about the USS Franklin D. Rosevelt and how it had multiple encounters with UFOs from the 1950s all the way until it was decommissioned in the '70s, it was also the first carrier to take nuclear weapons to see, but what i found most compelling was that of multiple radar operators/sea men who either made visual or radar contact, one operator went as far as saying he has seen many meteors on his screen and said the activity he witnessed was nothing of the kind. the sailors tell some pretty ohnest sounding stories, maybe im just a sucker, but it's worth checking out. plus i think roswell has a bit of stink to its pile as well.
