Did McCain fly off the Mighty O during Vietnam? Was it an Essex Class carrier? Alot of our historic ships were lost to us. A sad one was the USS Enterprise of WWII. The Big E fought in all but two major sea battles of the war and was the first Navy ship to receive a Presidental Citation in the war. It was scrapped after a failed attempt to make her a musuem ship. :cry: :cry:
