The long gestating multi-seeker Kh-38 series (Kh-25 Karen/Keggler replacement)

And RVV-SD and RVV-MD "medium range" and "short range" air to air missiles being offered with the MiG-35 to India. I assume these are updated R-77 and R-73 missiles. We'll see what actually gets into service. If the T-50 flies, the Kh-38 and Kh-58 will be nice for carriage in its bays.

The Russians alway spump up the 'capabilities' of their weapons, and yet combat always shows them to fall far short of their described capabilites...

FA Futures/FA-2 is Still Being Worked On and Will Be Released...

The R-37 "Arrow" and K-172 "Anti-Awacs" (now sometimes called the K-100) are apparently still in development. Both have jettisonable boosters (at least as options), and fairly high speeds.... Mach 3.8 for the KS-172 and Mach 6 for the R-37 according to Wikipedia.

If they're ever going to equip the Flanker series or the Pak-FA is anyone's guess. If more MiG-31BMs are built it could be a carrier for the R-37 as well. Russia is having enough trouble getting out the more mundane weapons. However, I read that a new R-77 version and short range missile (R-73 version?) will be shown at MAKS 2009, August 18-23. http://www.aviasalon.com/en/ We'll see
