Starting in 2013 Romania is going to replace it's MiG-21 Lancers with referb'd USAF F-16C/Ds. they wanted new ones but couldn't afford them. The F-16s will have the 220 IPE engines. |

Do you know what versions of the F-16C/Ds they will get? Which block? They waisted so much $$$ on those Lancers... They should of gone for F-16s from the start... |

Offered block 50/52 but had to settle for block 25 with the APG-68(V)1 and IPE engines. |

Those must be in controlled storage at AMARC... Or are those the ones the Italians are flying? |
