I was watching Discovery Channel last night "Killing Bin Laden". On the show they said Seal Team 6 used "Stealth Blackhawks" as the helos for inseartion. I have never heard of those before, I was aware of RAH-66 Comanches, but I thought they were a failed project. I wonder if they are coating the blackhawks with radar absorbant materials or what? I can't find what model UH-60 is the stealth model. Has anyone heard of this before, or is Discovery Channel out of their mind? If they do exist maybe CAG can add them to his lib/remake of FA Futures for spec ops. I remember that Discovery History had a modern/future airwar and they had B-1Bs (Can't remember what they called them, the had "V" shaped tails) that were armed with 120 AMMRAMS in the weapons bay instead of bombs and E3-D's directed the missles to the poor SU-47's and SU-35's, and then the F-22's mopped up what was left. Maybe its all just fantasy or maybe the US Government does not want us to know. Any thoughts?

Rumors of a low observable Blackhawk have been floating around for a while, now we have some proof.
Comanche wasn't exactly a failed program, it simply ran out of missions that it could do better than UAVs. When the manufacturer started promoting it as a battlefield communications node, I knew it was dead.

I have some art work, but it's all speculation, no photos available yet.

There's a plastic model coming out already...

http://www.dragon-models.com/html/4628poster.htm

It reminds me of the old stealth fighter speculative models.

As inaccurate as it may be I really like that art from Dragon.
I don't believe the real chopper was/is anywhere near that radical or there would have been a different tail rotor. The tail rotor produces most of the noise most of the time and is a huge RADAR target.
