- North Korea Reveals Video of New Anti-Aircraft Weapon Test Launch -
Korean Central Television (KCTV) released a video on Sunday reportedly showing the test of a new anti-aircraft guided weapon system.
North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un supervised the tests of the new anti-aircraft defense system amid the escalation of the crisis on the Korean peninsula, Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported Sunday.
The North Korean leader was pleased with the test, according to state media, and ordered its mass production.
The new anti-aircraft defense system is aimed at intercepting and destroying enemy's drones and rockets.

Pyongyang had already tested the new system in April 2016, but defects had been identified, according to KCNA. This time, Mr. Kim was able to ensure, according to the agency, that all the deficiencies of the system had been "perfectly filled".
According to KCNA, the North Korean number one congratulated the military leaders and ordered the production of the system "in large quantities" in order to deploy it "throughout the country, like the forest,to completely ruin the enemy's crazy dream of controlling the air."
