I have to do a little web site editing so I'll have them all up here in a couple days. I'm gonna try and make it so it's not so easy for some people to just hit the site and steal them.

Yeah, but wait until my names on it

But seriously, once I post them, if you'd like to use some of them, just tell me and I'll let you use it. I just don't want a bunch of people I don't know using them.

Ontop of it, I'm going to resize them to smaller resolutions for the website, so if you ask you'll get a better picture anyway.

Chris, I hate to tell you, but you will not stop anyone from misuse of your images. Unfortunately, anything that you view in your browser is already downloaded to your local HD temp files from a standard website.

Oh yeah, I know that, I've been doing websites for years. I know a few tricks to prevent people from being able to use images though.

If someone really wanted a pic that bad, all they'd have to do would be to take a screenshot, edit it to cut out a name or something like that, the paste it into Paint, and convert it to JPG format........it's not Rocket Science.

Ivan when you think you've got something, let me know. If it can get past me it will get past the majority out there. The "low-rez" idea is a good one.

Depending on how you write your html, you can make the source show only a message like this,
"this material property of D. "FETCH" Jordan"

.... or whatever you want, when they right click anything.
Along with uploading with the source code hidden that's about all you really can do without a legitimate copywright on your material.

Like I said- screenshot, paste to paint, convert to JPG. It's not rocket science.

Yup I think DaBig has a point, however it will not apply to animated images or iamges with transparencies... Fetch's solution involves a javascript that effects the mouse right click button, but you can always get the address of the image from your browser histroy and then write a new html page locally on your HD with an active ALink of the address of the pic and then right click it there and select SAVE AS...

Whenever I've tried to do the screen shot 'print screen' when theres anything like Anfy Java running, whatever is within the Anfy Java comes up as a gray screen instead of the picture.

You can encrypt your HTML coding so that the other person would seriously have to go out of there way to read your HTML scripting.

There is anti-highlighting coding that you can use to prevent someone from highlighting and pressing something like ctrl-c.

Obviously there is always the anti-right clicker.

Spliting the image up into several images always works really well.

The best protection is to keep a good copy of the picture for yourself, and then writing right over the important part of the picture.

Heck, I'm sure some people have come across sites they literally could not copy and took a digital camera to get the picture for themselves.

When it comes to protecting your websites from other people copying it, theres never a real ultimate blocking tool. The best thing you can do is to just make is so frustrating for that person that they will just give up.

Oh, by the way, just wanted the appoligize for the time it's taking to get it all up. Doing some site editing and just finished getting my moving done and now it's time to finish filling in most of the blanks.

Chris, no problem on the time you have taken, we all ahve real lives to live...

Java will indeed keep the image from showing in a print screen capture..

However java encryption is no mystery and very easy to decrypt. Any third party encryptor/de-encryptor available online will do it, since it jsut compresses the html language into a large single java script. The encryptor will always be able to read that java code to unscramble it...
