Are there any active squadrons or anything that still play? I'm guessing interest more or less died off by the end of the 2000s, but I am curious to know if there are any groups around. The links page on the FARC site itself are all either links to dead Yahoo groups, or inactive places. I'm not even sure how to get online play working in FA, if it can even be done. The Janes Combat website is down and for sale.
This site seems to be one of the very few remaining FA sources of things and info, not to mention the most recently updated. Most of the freebie sites like Geocities and Angelfire sites are still around, but have been inactive for over 5 years or so at best.
This game was a huge part of my childhood, I used to drive my dad nuts with how many keyboard commands I had memorized...
