A thunderstorm with rain (Sound file, press Ctrl+V to activate... works nice if you use it along with 30~40 knot winds, flying into clouds or fog... pity we can't get real rain to work in FA...

hmm...not bad. I'll post the link up a little later today...Speedy just curious if you want to contribute anything to the FA Supplemental Manual seeing as you know a WHOLE lot about mapping and stuff so you're input would be very valuable.

Well, I'd at least like a look at the Supplemental Manual... I can't open .pdf stuff on my computer, and since my disk drive is busted I can't install Adobe Reader of whatever is needed to open it.

I recall you posted a Topcities URL for an online version of it or something, but then as you know I can't view Topcities pages.

I'm obviously interested in contributing...

No, just this sound file I found on the internet, you know, those "Free Sound" webpages, it had something called thunder, and it had some rain so I just used a bit of cut and paste and what not... But it's really weird when it's a clear day and you press Ctrl+V and all of a sudden the sound tells you you're in a thunderstorm...

One thing I've noticed from movies, TV, and video games is that they all use a very limited library of sound effects. Alot of repeats going on. For example I've heard the Daggerfall RPG rat squeak noise dozens of times in other things now.

You guys ever hear that scream that they always use. It was in a Nickelodeon show errr Little MOnsters, I can't remember the name, but also Broken Arrow and everything its like a errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh thingy...lol
