It is palette # 224, the light blue in the lower left corner of the image.

I will check that out. Thank you!

Well so far no success as the tracer shape is not editable in the color editor, so I cant use that segment of the pallet to color it.

Any idea what the hex code is for that color? Perhaps I could do it manually through the hex editor...

I think the default color for palette index # 224 is FF00FF, the pink color.

FA shapes use only a 2 digit hex code for coloring each polygon, so this isnt going to work for coloring the actual shape itself...

Which means I wont be able to color the far shapes with the glowing color either...

So back to square one?

BINGO!! I have figured out the 2 digit hex code for the light color for night in FA!

I can now make the tracers showup yellow at night, but dark color during the day...

And with the increased visibility range of the tracers you can now see a full night engagement from quite a distance away and the tracers are quite bright! :D

Works great on the polygon for the the missile exhaust as well, glowing brightly at night...

And now I can make runway lights that work in XP, which I have not been able to do since editing in 98...

So I am quite happy today! lol...
