Come on, CAG, you got in such kind of troubles also before and after some time you were able to find the solution...

So please don't give up, even have some time to rest and reflect about this new one instead.

And please always remember: even perhaps I'm not in the testers' team any longer, this only can't mean I wouldn't follow carefully how will end that was the project I was deeply interested.

My best wishes to you and all are in the testers team now, and cheers.

Mr CAG,

I was an avid builder and tweaker of some missions back in the day cerca 1997 but I never released any and my interest slowly waned until i started playing things like The Sims(?!)! Not great I know, anyway I recently got back into FA and I had to sign up to just say I am loving the 2003 version of the FAF and I was so disheartened that you were ready to give up on FAF2006.... I had to jump on a computer and implore you not to give up! It is incredible how you have improved my experience and the depth of what is arguably a classic and highly impressive game. I have never been truely satisfied with any other mission creator!

I am a builder and a tweaker and would relish the opportunity to play FAF2006, on a slightly related note I have noted down a few crashes that have occured with 2003, I can send them to you if you would like? FA is pretty unstable on my machine anyway but FAF is rock solid but there are some reocurring crashes for example one of the ACC B-1Bs hates me!

Peace out and see you in ten days after my hols! By the way I write like an overexcited child when I am interested in something, I am now 24 so you know I am serious!

Laters

Harv

Maybe you shouldn't bother trying to make new features work if they do not work on all the latest operating systems. Don't get me wrong I am not trying to put anything down but add a second point a view.

What if the time you are spending on this could be put towards something new for Fighter's Anthology. Clearly the outdated coding is the problem. It has to be upgraded at some point it is just a question of how can it be done? Can someone get the code from EA? Can someone get the code from the game itself? Can a later game such as Jane's F/A-18 or Falcon 4.0 be modified to have similar gameplay as Fighters Anthology but with better graphics?

I'm just throwing different ideas out there. I still think what you are trying to do is great, but it is always good to consider other possible options. The last thing you want to do is spend a lot of time working on a Fighters Anthology feature that ends up getting replaced by some new solution.
