This is an email to all those that have signed up to compete in the VNFAWING.com FA Futures Screenshots competition...

This email will setup the rules for the competition and outline the prizes.

Rules for the competition...

1) Privacy of all those that compete will be maintained throughout the competition. The winner will have the option of releasing full information (name, city, country, etc) or to simply be listed by callsign.

2) The competition runs from Jan 1st to the 30th 2004 and the winner will be named on the Jan 31st 2004.

3) Entires will be judged on artistic values as well as originality and individuality.

4) CAG Hotshot and Tango are the official judges and all correspondence will be directed to cag@vnfawing.com for the duration of the competition.

5) Due to the small number of competitiors (less then 20) prizes will only be awarded to the top 2 competitors.

6) The top winner will have his choice of the two prizes, Second place will be awarded the remaining prize.

7) VNFAWING.com will retain all rights to the entries and shall not wave those rights to exclusive ownership. No entries will be returned to competitiors and competitiors give up all rights to the entries and shall not in any way use them on the internet or any other capacity.

8) Only 2 (primary entry and secondary entry) individual screenshots will be accepted from each competitor. These entires MUST be contained within a ZIP file and be in either BMP OR GIF Format. Any entries sent outside a ZIP file will be instantly deleted. Any entires sent in JPG or any other format then 256 color BMP or GIF will be instatntly deleted and the competitior will be disqualified.

9) 'After shot' editing will only be accepted to 'clean up' the screenshot or to 'merge' screenshots together. No 'repainting' will be allowed and will immeditaely disqualify the competitor.

10) ALL COMPETITORS MUST RESPOND TO THIS EMAIL WITH 'I AGREE FULLY WITH COMPETITION RULES' in the subject line and the main body of the email. THis original email must then be included within the response directly below the agreement statement.

11) The two top winning screenshots will be displayed on the VNFAWING.com website with the winners callsign...

12) All competitors must have some fun with this!

That is all for the rules...

Now on to the prizes...

Top Prize will be:

A 'Track IR' head movement tracking system for use with simulators. The hardware will include the necesary software to work with a modern AMD or Intel based miscrosft windows based system. http://www.sim-news.com/Pics/logos/trackir2.jpg

Second Prize will be a set of E-D 3D simulator glasses that all the user to have a 3D experience with flight simulators. http://www.edimensional.com/products/images/wired.gif

At anytime a competitor may opt out for $50.00 cash instead of these prizes.

No third place prize will be awarded due to less then 20 competitors and the limitations it placed on monies from sponsors.
