1. What is EFCN? Does anyone fly there? Is it better than HL in any ways? 2. Does anyone fly YSflight? I discovered this little sim a few days ago. It's pretty good for a freeware sim by one guy. Not near FA quality yet, but it's approaching. I think the models might be a little bit better than stock FA models but it's hard to decide. 3. Did anyone ever find a fix for the warping ground textures in WinXP. What happens is that when you fly close to the ground and roll the textures get all weird. It's kinda hard to explain what I mean. I'll get a screen shot tommorow. That's all for the night. -GJ55 |

1. EFCN was an attempt to rival HL but to no success IIRC. 2. YSflight, nope no clue what that is. Could you elaborate? 3. Warping ground textures in XP? I haven't noticed any of that could you provide a screen shot. |

1. Don't know 2. Yes. I had ysflight on my computer until a few weeks ago when we updated to XP. I really enjoyed it, though it was a bit limited. I would link you to the site where I d/l'ed a bunch of custom planes (well-done ones I might add), but the site's download links don't work anymore (they stopped a few weeks ago). Here are some cool ysflight pages: http://www.h4.dion.ne.jp/~tyonibu/ http://gontamix-web.hp.infoseek.co.jp/index_e.htm http://flightinfo.ens.ne.jp/ysflightsim/files/index.html |

Are there missions for ysflight and campaigns or is it just flying around like MSFS. |

No missions for ysflight. You can either choose an air combat (fight up to 5 enemies with up to 2 wingmen) or free fly. In either mode, provided you have enough weapons and fuel, you can fly to the enemy base/target (wherever it may be) for your current level and attack it. The only problem is, I always get shot down before I can destroy it (AAA is really tough in ysflight). Search on google for ysflight. It isn't too impressive, but some nice lloking models (better than FA) can be custom made, but mind you... the built in models are mediocre. |

If so I'll go d/l and try to learn it. Orbiter if any of you know of it is awesoem but has a STEEEP learning curve. |
