Post subject:  ALERT: Updated Maverick Shapes (6/2/04) <-- All New Pics
I have altered the Maverick Missile shapes even further. The missiles now fully duplicate the real shape of the AGM-65 series of missiles. All new Pics today (6/2/04). I also added further to the skins and added missile designations...

As you can see the scale size of the missile is now now exactly matches the scale of the launching aircraft for improved realism...

I hope you like them! All will be available in the next release of FAF Korea Summer/Winter...

And you can thank Tank_77th for the improved shapes, he motivated me to improve them further then what I had completed over the weekend....

After further discussions with Tank_77th I am going to do further edits on the missile shapes... lower and slightly shorten the traingle center fins, lower and slighlty narrow the tail fins... that should finish off the missiles to a much more relaeastic shape!

other than the fin size they look great. I would also give them a black nose, that would simulate a glass seeker better than any other color I think.

I posted the pics of the new updates to finish the missiles with a much improved shape over those from yesterday...

No black noses though, it causes a color mismatch effect...

But I think we can live with what we have now...

I think the shape is looking perfect now. Too bad about the seeker/nose, but its no big thing

Yes it is because the nose is not skinned... If it was I could make a realeastic seeker window....

But since it isnt, the shading on the nose makes the color change look strange, but I will experiment more with it tonight...


Who knows, maybe I will find a color that works...
