Post subject: | As promised - Screenshots of the new F-16XL! |
Here are a selection of shots at both 800x600 and 1024x768 of the new F-16XL Strike Viper. Dont mind the Turkish markings on the atial, the skin is an adapted version from one of my TUAF F-16s.. The 'in use' F-16XL in FAF will have proper USAF tail markings... The new shape is fully complete, now all I need is a matching flight model and we will have a very potent strike aircraft! Data necessary for the FM will soon be available from the FM modellers over on the Falcon 4.0 FM team... I will work with Kap to develop a fully accurate flight model for this awesome aircraft! Here are the shots... I made various images to show off the new model from every angle. Also to show that all the animated areas of the shape (Gear, Flaps, Rudder, and Brakes) all fully work in their new locations... Enjoy! Side by side with a Standard F-16C for comparison... And the final image showing a Half F-16C and a Half F-16XL during development.. I hope you like her! She will be fully flyable int eh next version of FAF... CAG out... |

I have improved the model a bit more since these pics were posted. I have also created a detailed shadow shape and crash shapes fo r use with the F-16XL. Now all I need is to get Kap to build a detailed FM and it will be complete. I will post some pics of the improved model and new shadow tomorrow... Thanks for the compliments on this new aircraft, I appreciate it... CAG out... |

Manoj, You need to go join the VNFAWING Development Egroup and then upload detailed imagery and flight model info before your request can be added to the list. You can join the group by visiting this URL (and you will be able to see from the message list that we have indeed been very busy!) http://groups.yahoo.com/group/VNFAWING/ CAG out... |
