Yes, you have read right. Game Remod is now in it's 7th version and this is the best yet. Changes span two pages worth of MS Word and I am sure that I forgot a few. Everything is radically different. Weapons, especially, work much better and are much more effective. All values for such are in MPH and cruise settings are ten times better. Some new weapons have been added and some new aircraft have been added. New NT files have been added and I've fixed all SAMs and AAA again.

I bet you want to know where to get this?

Woot! The only few libs that I usually fly in FA are your GR, Kaptors, and FAF future libs, and few of other minor libs as well.

Sounds good. The FARC main, links, and libraries pages have been updated.

Coolio. Now with this update will come updates to World War III. Unfortunately I have 85 pages worth of ITEM.DAT file to go through to replace what I need to so don't expect this overnight if you get my drift.

Other things I am working on:

Iceland Map with objects & fixed terrain
Chechnya Map (when Cag sends me the base map)
Cuban Missile Crisis (fixed up from the old POS one)
Defending the Kingdom (Default SP Missions but now a 35-mission campaign)

I can't wait for the Defending the Kingdom campaign. I just played all of those default missions over last night.

This is one of the few big libs that runs on my NTFS Windows XP setup. Have the reasons for compatibility/incompatibility been found?

Also the game cannot find S3VIK.SH when trying to fly the S-3 Viking.

I played it fine for about 20 minutes, then after I ended a quick mission to start another, clicking the "Quick Mission" button caused a CTD.

S3VIK.SH...lol oops I knew I'd forget something...

Fetch is it spitting out an error of any sorts? What OS, etc. are you using.

XP Compatibility I have NFC on it just works sometimes and others it doesn't LOL!!!

AIM120S yes that is a mild problem though nothing big since it does not do it mid-game. It's just FA being stupid with the NO-CD patch as I have come to see.

I'm still running WIN 98'.

It's hard for me to tell since when I click "Quick Mission" it just goes back to desktop, with no error message.

If I choose "Single Mission" it does advance to next screen, but will CTD when I click "fly" to load planes.

That's uber-odd since all LIBs always work with WIN98. Are there any other libs, missions, etc. in your dir at the time when you are trying this?

The only thing I have in there now is the No-CD .exe.
I'll replace that and try it useing the FA CD and see what happens.

P.S.
Anybody up for some casual online coops, if I get this working, to see how stable it is online ?

Does anyone else running Windows 98 have these problems I might ask?
