Well yes WWIII will be converted to the GR7 standard. However, it is a slow process. It only takes a few hours to convert the LIB over and then run through the missions to see if they CTD but it is nothing that is easy. There are currently 7 LIBs to convert War on Terror DONE 7-4-04 TRUD OPCR OPKR Russia PT 1 Falklands OPSS I am now done with the War on Terror one so 6 are left. Let me break it down on how I am going about this. I am going through the DAT file and replacing every object. There are, between these 7, 85 pages worth of stuff. 12 are now complete with WOT so there are another 73 pages to go. It isn't easy let me tell you especially since it is just me doing it so hang in there. BTW I have a curious point for anyone interested. I have a mission in WOT that has 5 MOs and that's it. You blow them up, RTB, and should get MS. Apparently not. I did, I checked the briefing (25 minute flight total so it wasn't under the 5 minute necessity) and it said Destroyed the 5 targets, nothing else. So I am curious if anyone knows why a mission, even if it was MA it would say MF? And no there aren't any objects that have to be protected to fly through their waypoints. |
