To play Fighters Anthology on some faster graphics accelerator cards, you have to turn down or turn off the hardware acceleration features in Windows Display properties. Then you can play with the highest graphics settings in the game and no lockups. This is where I had to put my settings b4 the game would stop locking up.

Interesting, I haven't noticed any problems with my FX 5700LE.

What problems were you seeing with your card?

I have not seen this yet, but it may be a combination of machine performance, ram speed, and/or drivers...

I am glad you found a fix, but I would like more info on the symptoms of the problem...

CAG out...

I had an FX 5600 in and it ran OK but I never could get the color setting just right for FA.
I think I'll try it again, thanks for the tip CAG.

The prob is: in the middle of missions (add-ons or not) the game will at random times not accept any keyboard or mouse input, causing many airplane crashes, getting shotdown, etc.. Also intro video when game is first started looks terrible. Doesn't matter what screen resolution game is set to or graphics preferences are set. Have tried re-installing over old game. May try a complete uninstall and reinstall. Maybe should try installing on my WinXP partition.

Still running Win98SE:
Gigabyte GA-8SG667 motherboard
Pentium 2.4
512 MB 266 MHz RAM
MSI FX5600 128MB AGP video card

Nothing overclocked...everything pretty much default settings.
