If I wanted to make these skins into "stand alone" plane libs, so that when imported into a project they would not simply "re-skin" an exsisting plane in FA, which files need to be renamed or created?
Example libs:
CAG's reskin of the A-4M
KAPTOR's reskin of the F-5
I would like to be able to import them and still keep the origional FA birds to, like this E2000N lib.

I fixed the aggressor so its a stand alone aircraft in a fully importable lib for you. It has its own skin,shape and pt file that will not overwrite any existing files...

In a nutt shell, is it something like ...
There needs to be a _PIC file that matches an "internal name".
And a PT file to match ?
Or did you have to rename the shape file too ??

You have to make a renamed copy of the shape file, using the modified cache.m file. And change the .PIC references in the shape file with a hex editor.
