Post subject:  AI Anti-tank

I am making a lib in which i plan to take out my life's frustrations (i.e. make super planes that can beat all the A.I. planes easily...) Anyway, i have made a helicopter and a airplane that are designed to be used as Air-to-Ground weapons. When I leave then in AI control, however, they fire 2 or 3 AGM's (the helicpter usually only manages one) and then stop and just go straight. This is ok for my airplane, which goes at a steady 400 knots about, but my helicopter always gets shot down. Is there some way to make my AI more aggressive?

you need to expand the fov of your weapons, the AI isnt seeing any additional targets to engage, also what type of targets did you tell it to attack?...

The FOV was already 180 degrees. The target was a group of 6 M1 abrams.

Also, could someone please tell me what editing the low AOA speed and pitch in the Aerodynamics section of the toolkit does?

I'm sorry, I'm a newb. I caught on REALLY late,

Go to my site and join our Forum, we are heavy into FM (Flight model) development...

BTW 180 by 180 on the seekers or 180 horizontal and ? vertical?

Also what type of onboard seekers do you have in the helo? vis? radar? laser? ir?

What type of AI did you you select? What commands did you give it in the mission?

There are quite alot of questions that need to be addressed prior to having a complete solution unless you are lucky enough to hit on it accidently with one of them...

CAG out...
