While mission building, converting some previous GR7 missions over to check out 7.03 ....
What does this go to so I can change it to something in both ?

You have some confusion. The different versions of GR7 do not change the item names, such would be silly. BGM71D.JT in GR7.00 is the same as it is in GR7.03 and always will be. In fact most of the names there were in GR6 were retained to GR7 so you will have compatibility with GR6 custom work.

OK,
Not a clue but it appears that maybe it was the M1046 from version 701 that was hanging up 703.
If you where curious.

Does the M1046 cause a CTD?

I'll use the PM.
I think it's OK, it's just 703 did not like the one from 701.
If there where no changes I perplexed also.
I seriously so freakin pissed, and now I gotta go try and fall asleep so I can get up at 7am (I work second shift and usually stay up till 3am every nite) and the ...... person that screwed up my weekend is right next to me.
So I proablywon't do much gameing tonite ....
I swear .... Chuck has only been in the family for about 13 years.
He's heard the stories, but tomorrow after dinner I'm takein him out to the garage and crack a bottle (I only drink hard liqour when I feel like fightin' now a days) I'm gonna twist that fat ass into a knot.
Man I'm pissed.
Sorry.

Hey CENT,
Check out the M2A3 Bradley in 7.03.
It does cause CTD in 7.03 itself.
The group I deleted to get mission from one to another was made up of M2A3's and M1046's. It now appears the M2A3 was the problem all along.

I wil re-download, but I'm 99% sure I got a clean download the first time.
edited on Sunday 11/28

I've tried a couple more downloads, and each appears to have problems with the Bradley M2A3.

That's great news to me,
Since I have made no secert about how I feel about your libs.

from my "about this messageboard post" via my board.

JANE's Fighters Anthology -
I play FA still because it's so user friendly, and just plain fun. I love a good coop, or some Dog-Fights.
There are many good lib files out there for this simulation, but my favorite is the Game ReMod 7 by Centurian.
Next to that one I use my FLIGHTLINE 2004 one the most.
But if you have FA you must see what CAG-Hotshot has done with his FA FUTURES lib.

If you where to add CAG's A-4M, I could chuck my cheesey little lib completely.
I still think your libs in balance are the most stable complete game re-makes going and turn ho-hum everyday missions into real nail biters.
I particularly love what you have done with the SA-6, those things are killer, even if you get past one, they fill the sky with missiles. Big time hats off CENT.
But I do have a question ....
Does the AIM-120-C really have that much range?
I have hit targets as far away as 31 miles with em.

As always, one of your supporters ....

The range of the AIM-120 is much to question. The AIM-120A/B claim 27 nautical miles. However, the C version is extended the range from the C-4 variant up IIRC. However, the real question lies in how much has it expanded. Many sources I have seen claim 40 nautical miles for the AIM-120C-5. Though the actual range is classified, the US military is known to undercite the real ranges of their weapons (i.e. tell the Soviets the missile goes 20 miles when it goes 35). For instance, they advertise the AGM-88 in the 20 - 30 nautical mile range. It actually can extend out to 80 nautical miles and this is the A version!!!
