Post subject: | Anyone interested in the damage fields? |
These are some of the damage fields I was able to determine. In a lot of cases, you can turn off certain damage types for individual aircraft. My original hope was to be able to modify the rate of fuel, oil and hyd fluid loss, but I suppose this would be in the .exe file. Note that 32-34 have zero values. You can turn these on and I was not able to detect any problems with them, but I only did limited testing on that. I figure there must have been a reason for them to be off. #1 has no answer, so I guess I was having trouble finding that out. Also, I'm not sure what 42-45 are. Lastly, I'm guessing the byte values are priorities? Any further help by anyone would be welcomed. I still would love to change those rates....perhaps CAG-Hotshot could find that in the .exe(hint). byte 20 ; systemDamage [1] byte 22 ; systemDamage [2] FUEL TANK LEAKING /128 byte 20 ; systemDamage [3] FUEL LINES SEVERED byte 148 ; systemDamage [4] FUEL TANK ON FIRE byte 22 ; systemDamage [5] ENGINE FLAMEOUT byte 20 ; systemDamage [6] ENGINE DAMAGED byte 20 ; systemDamage [7] ENGINE SERIOUSLY DAMAGED byte 20 ; systemDamage [8] COMPRESSOR DAMAGE byte 20 ; systemDamage [9] TAILPIPE DAMAGE byte 148 ; systemDamage [10] COMPRESSOR/TURBINE/FUEL PUMP FAILURE byte 148 ; systemDamage [11] " " byte 148 ; systemDamage [12] ENGINE ON FIRE byte 20 ; systemDamage [13] OIL PUMP DAMAGED byte 20 ; systemDamage [14] OIL LINES DAMAGED byte 20 ; systemDamage [15] HYDRAULIC LINES DAMAGED byte 148 ; systemDamage [16] HYDRAULIC LINES ON FIRE byte 20 ; systemDamage [17] GEAR JAMMED byte 22 ; systemDamage [18] FLAPS JAMMED byte 20 ; systemDamage [19] BRAKES JAMMED byte 20 ; systemDamage [20] ELEVATORS DAMAGED byte 20 ; systemDamage [21] ELEVATORS BENT byte 22 ; systemDamage [22] AILERONS DAMAGED byte 22 ; systemDamage [23] AILERONS BENT byte 20 ; systemDamage [24] RUDDER DAMAGED byte 20 ; systemDamage [25] RUDDER BENT byte 20 ; systemDamage [26] WING DAMAGED byte 148 ; systemDamage [27] WING DESTROYED byte 22 ; systemDamage [28] CONTROL LINES DAMAGED byte 36 ; systemDamage [29] CONTROL LINES UNSTABLE byte 148 ; systemDamage [30] THROTTLE STUCK byte 36 ; systemDamage [31] STRUCTURAL DAMAGE byte 0 ; systemDamage [32] FLIGHT SENSORS DAMAGED byte 0 ; systemDamage [33] RADAR/RWR DISPLAY DAMAGED byte 0 ; systemDamage [34] NAVIGATION SYSTEM DAMAGED byte 22 ; systemDamage [35] YOU'VE BEEN HIT byte 150 ; systemDamage [36]YOU'RE ABOUT TO DIE? byte 20 ; systemDamage [37] LASER SEEKER byte 22 ; systemDamage [38] CHAFF/FLARE DISPENSER DAMAGED byte 22 ; systemDamage [39] IR SEEKER DAMAGED byte 22 ; systemDamage [40] RADAR DAMAGED byte 6 ; systemDamage [41] MULTIPLIERS? byte 6 ; systemDamage [42] " " byte 6 ; systemDamage [43] " " byte 6 ; systemDamage [44] " " byte 6 ; systemDamage [45] " " Another area of the .pt file - There are still some question marks for the helo and vstol flight characteristics. Is this basically known and just not in the help file? I would be glad to provide those, if not. Bob |
