I used to play all the time and at the height, in around i think 96-97, those were some of the bigger squads, i remember the elite also, the 420th was a german squad, but they werent german, haha and the 13th had the most members of any squad, over 150. i was hendog, i used to play ABA all the time. Just seeing if theres anyone from that era playing still on here. Mike |

I have been flying FA online since 97 and I never hear of either of them... Even had my own online airwing with over 100 active pilots flying in 4 squadrons and we never once flew against them... CAG out... |

heck .... I can't even remember which Squads I was in back in 97'. But that dude looks familar ... hey wait he owes me money. LOL kidding, hendog. Hey but on the subject of the good odle days, You guys remember that cherry-pickin' dude Savoirfaire. or something like that You remember that dude that would set up there at JCN and try to pick off newbees, and was gunning for the all time kill ratio at JCN. I don't know what made me think of that knucklehead, but i miss going there with a made up name and acting like a newbee, then kicking his ass. Hey wait a minute ..... CAG, was that you man ? LOL just kidding, I couldn't ask CENT if it was him because he's actually the only guys callsign around here I remember seeing there a lot, at the same time when I would show up |

yeah i remember him, my fellow squad guys were quaz, skoal, i remember loopy420th, nukem, a guy named gordo, Hunedog, lol people would kill him and think they killed me, i was pretty good at the time. Nukem my buddy is actually a navy nuke right now serving on the truman, as the time goes by! i remember things like they were yesterday. Heres another guy, lonegunman, im just throwing names out, it would be cool to talk to people from there, i remember i used to play the aussies squads a lot at night, all night listening to ozzy osborne, haha, the good old days. I have my FA, but my sidewinder is still at my old house, ill have to get it when i go down next month to visit. Where do you guys play online what libs if any do you use to play online? |

I remember framers who cheated before they came out with the patch, id be a f-15 and they are out turning me bigtime and shit with a mig-21, lol but once the patch came, that crap stopped thank god. |

That is why the Anti-Cheat setup at the 714 VTFS ladder was so popular, since you could be certain you couldnt cheat there... Fetch... My Callsign was always Hotshot... When I was in ATFS it was ATFS_Hotshot+ (The plus was the rank) And when I opened VNFAWING it was VNFA_Hotshot|||| (the |||| was captains bars)... Those are the names I flew in under JCN, though IIRC I had to shorten them to get them to fit... CAG out... |

curious, how could you cheat after the patch? im eager to get my joystick back and start playing with you guys. But i have xp, i hear there are problems with FA and xp, Where do i go to fix those problems when i do install the game? |

As long as your Hard-drive is in NTFS file format then you won't have any problems with XP and FA. Trust me... |

ahahah hey i used to play back in the day also i was digging through my box of computer games and i found diablo which i also used to play fa around the same time. So i remember when i was in the JVFS squad and 151 anyone remember those? I forget what years the were around. But my callsign was i think ummm Nirvana-JVFS i also remember having one that said penguin in it but i forgot. I used to play with a guy named Heat alot and i remember that guy savior. But i really remember all the porn talk that used to go on. Good Times. Anyone remembe the name of that site that did coops at night because I remember doing that alot to. |

Hey guys, I used to play with Hendog back in the early days. Ya know, before the P2s came out. I remember playing on my Packard Hell 200mhz. I havent played for a long time now. My Sidewinder Force feedback finally died. But it is good to remember all the good times this game has given me. |
