Post subject:  Help with FA toolkit

I'm having problems installing the FA toolkit. i can download it just fine, but when I run the installation program I get this message-

"16 bit Windows Subsystem

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application"

The 2 options it gives you are close, and ignore. and neither do anything. So why cant i install the toolkit?

Hey Starfighter ...
Tell us a little more about your system.

What's your OS ?
And if it's XP are you running FAT32 ?

FAT32 is a type of hard disk file system. With Windows XP your hard disks will use either FAT 32 or NTFS. Double click "my computer", then right click on your hard disk and select properties. The popup will say:

Type: Local Disk
File System: your file system here

I opened my Autoexec.NT file and this is what it is used for:

AUTOEXEC.BAT is not used to initialize the MS-DOS environment.
AUTOEXEC.NT is used to initialize the MS-DOS environment unless a
different startup file is specified in an application's PIF.

Does anyone have experience with this file before?

Just to go over the steps....

You download the zip file.

Unzip to a folder somewhere.

Then run setup.exe

And you get the error message :?:
