Post subject:  RESUMING MOST WANTED - with hope for closing in

Many thanks to Zephyr for continous efforts in keeping FA with our minds.

Secondly, resuming some of "most wanted":

1 any way to change WHAT aircraft you receive on campaigns,
WHEN do you receive them and WHERE do they show up on the tarmac?

2 any way if not to implement a dynamic campaign, at least to actually link a series of missions, like a tree-missions campaign as in Jetfighter 3? for example, your next mission to be one of two possibilities, depending whether you took out a specific target or not

3 any way to change the number of missions in a campaign (and campaign ending correctly)?

4 any way to implement damage on enemy planes? (a 99% damaged enemy aircraft performs as an undamaged one)

5 any way to implement turbulence? for example when getting close to another aircraft, or when flying close over sea or ground, looks cool to see the waves behind you, or the clouds of dust; is there any other sim, except Falcon 4, to implement these?

6 any lib out there that changes completely either RIO or wingman & tower? (a lot of confusion which said what, since all messages in-game are spoken by the same voice)

7 any way to implement enemies taunting you, or warning you? in general, any way to implement more sounds to the game, not just changing the default ones?

8 what is the quickest and most effective way to make a snowy terrain? looks like editing textures brings along some problems with the palette, while editing the mission file to lower the clouds is buggy

9 how to avoid the pop-up effect of the mountains? (btw, anyone here knows how to solve that also for Jane's F15, or at least enlarge the "player bubble"?)

10 anyone still playing online (especially ABA)? how to connect (Kali?)? by the way, is it possible to play campaigns coop?

No it doesnt, depends on WHAT damage the enemy plane has. I have turned a super turning AI plane into a lumbering sitting duck many many times.

Dont know if Hyperlobby is still up and running but VNFAWING continues to do developement testing with our own proprietary online multi-player proggy, much more stable than HL ever was.

That one was worked out LONG ago with simple hex editing of the cam files.

What I meant is the aircraft you receive AFTER some time in campaign (usually JSF, X31 etc.), not the ones you start campaign with.

No it doesnt, depends on WHAT damage the enemy plane has. I have turned a super turning AI plane into a lumbering sitting duck many many times.


What damage do you mean? For me, a 95% damaged enemy aircraft has no manouveuring problem at all, I don't know how you manage to effect damage on them.

yes, I know, I read your question and the answer is still yes. You can have an F-22 a B-52 or anything in between.

I dont have any problem with this at all. I dont recall ever noticing that an AI gun or RADAR wasnt working anymore but the manuever decrease is rather noticeable IF they are damaged in that way. I have been badly damaged many times in a fight and still had all of MY manuevering ability.

I dont know for positive that the online proggy will be released for public use as I didnt develope it, this is a question for CAG.

by hex editing the cam files, I think Zeph has them hosted somewhere.
