Is it possible to edit the roundels (national markings) in FA? If so where are they located? |

They are in the Graphics- Other Art menu in the TK. "Round01" through 60. Make sure you maintain the transparency or they will look bad. |

Wow, that was so obvious, now I feel really stupid. |

Hey, man, don't feel bad. You think you feel dumb? I once told someone who asked a similar question that he should just hard-draw the roundel onto the texture, resulting in the same markings no matter what nationality you choose. Now *that* was dumb! Albeit necessary for my MiG-15 texture, where the markings on the MiG-17 were hard-drawn anyhow... |

The textured roundel looks much more authentic and realeastic then the cartoon overlay in the default game... It is hard drawn on multiple aircraft already anyway... Like the A-4, F-4, F-8, and MiG-17... The difference is that in FA Futures we removed the overlay polygon from the shapes so they cant use the overlay... Since FA Futures is based upon specific theaters, replacing all default aircraft in the sim with new aircraft designed for the specific airforces in that specific theater... CAG out... |

Yeah, it works really well in FAF2003. I mainly want to edit them to correct some flaws (and so I don't have to do an individual texture for every plane in my lib) like the russian roundel. I have never seen a red star with yellow outline on any russian plane. They either have a red star with a white outline and then a thinner red outline, or just a plain red star. |

Yikes, umm...sorry bout that. I wouldn't have called that strategy dumb if I knew FA Futures had it. Guess I'm not as dumb as I though I was! Anyway, as the only option I had left to get a North Korean roundel on my MiG-15, it *did* turn out pretty well, at least I think so. In any case, I'm not all that familiar with FAF, having seen only a few screenshots here and there |

Dude, go to VNFAWING.com (link at top of this page) and download FAF Korea 2003! You won't be sorry. And CAG has even greater things in store for the next FAF! |

I would love to, but it will have to wait till January, when my limited internet time starts over again. That sounds like a awfully big download, and I always wait until the 1st of the month for those. |
