WONDERING IF ANYONE KNOWS ANY COOL MISSION EDITING TRICKS TO FOOL YOUR AIRCRAFT INTO THINKING ITS GETTING RE-FUELED BY A KC-130 OR SOMETHING?

Unlimited Fuel Cheat from the inflight menu is the only way to refuel while flying...

Best way to simulate refueling is to start your aircraft in the air right behind the tanker at the beginning of the mission, and say that you just finished refueling (or get LOMAC or Flanker 2.5 lol). Sad, isn't it? :?

When you consider the age of FA there isnt anything sad about it. Many sims have yet to achieve the kinds of things FA has had for a decade. The OTHER sims are sad, taking the easy route and providing only a little bit more than new eye candy and some improved avionics.

Quite true. But dedicated sims leave more room for the fancy stuff, and tend to be more realistic. Don't get me wrong, I love FA! FA's main advantage is its versatility. You can do practically anything you want with it. Hell, if you're good at hex editing you *can* do anything you want! 8) Both types of sim have their advantages and disadvantages. I always wanted to write a dedicated sim of the Russian Su-24 Fencer. Awesome plane.

I cant agree... Janes USAF has all the same bells and whistles that Falcon 4.0 had, and better graphics (when released)...

If the sim had been further developed by EA it could have been a read bread winner, but as usual they abandoned development and it never saw its full potential, even with all the third party development, because sourcecode was never made available...

I'll explain it for ya.
FA gives you a reasonble level of realism, you can do almost anything you want, anywhere you want while flying anything you want. Without constant CDTs, crash logs and patches or taking 20 minutes for the game to load and another 20 minutes to get in the air.
I LOVE FA, I always WILL love FA.
