okay 2 little things, I USED to know how to do these things so don't get TOO frustrated with me, I have simply forgotten the procedure to making my ordanance (missiles,bombs,pods) have pictures in the load-out screen, right now they are just blank spots, I can't remember.

And does anyone know any quick little tips for texture editing, I can't seem to remember how to stop the landing gear and afterburner from being effected by my coloring.

This is a good question, asking for help is a good thing.

The other 'pronouncement' posts were not, but this is a good post...

FA Toolkit, under graphics, then object icons...

Open an existing object icon and then edit it to look like you want, then save it. Close the FATK and open explorer (or My Computer) then rename the file in the project folder and in the item.dat file to match the name of your new weapon file, with a $ as the first character in the name and that should be it...

You can only edit skins (if you are using XP) in a program like paint shop pro and you need to modify the palette on the last sqare of the pallette chart to 255,255,0 or else you lsoe the transparency and it will screw up the canopy, gear, and afterburners...

Also this info should be in the FA section on FARC website, under FA tips, but those pages seem to be down...
