Howdy, After re-installing my FA for the first time in years I was glad to find a community that still upgrading it and active. I was poking through the boards looking for an answer to my problem, but I haven't found one yet. I have a Saitek usb joystick that is recognized by the game for everything except flight control! When I load a mission I press esc and select joystick on the pull down menu but I get no control. This is odd because on the same pull down I can select rudder pedals and I can use my rudder by twisting the stick, I can select the thrust so I can regulate my thrust using the throttle on the joystick, and I can move my head around with the hat. The only thing that I cannot do is fire weapons or move with the stick, no matter what setting I use under the menu. Any one else have this procblem? |

have you calibrated the stick thru windows yet? And what stick are you selecting from the popdown menu inFA for this stick? |

I agree, calibrate the stick in control panel. Even "plug and play" controllers need calibration in my experience. Zephyr |

Thanks. I got it working. I haqve a usb 4 port adapter that "confused the joystick when more than one thing was plugged in. So I unplugged everthing, but the joystick and it worked. |

The problem occurred because the USB joystick 'registers' itself to a specific USB port address, so when you added the 4 port splitter you changed that address and the stick became 'lost'... |
