Hey guys and gals. I need feedback on what joystick you use for FA flight and what selection you use for that joystick in the dropdown ingame menu when you set it up... Example: I use the Saitek X45 but I run it under the CH F-16 Flight Stick selection. I am asking because I am going to modify these choices to better represent what people are using today to fly FA so the drop down menu has more revelent options. So PLEASE respond to this message and let me know what you use and what selection you run it under... Thanks! CAG out... |

I use the Logitech Wingman Extreme Digital. I saw on your forum that Snake uses this (or something very similar) as well. He uses the Logitech software to map commands to FA. I used to be able to do this in Win XP, but for some reason, my latest install of the program (in Vista 64) doesn't have the command mapping function available for FA! All my other games that are detected by the program, like Lock On, have the command mappings showing up fine. ![]() |

I played around with the mapping program and got it to work by assigning keyboard commands to buttons. Previously that hadn't worked... and I would choose the Jane's Combat Stick. Now I can choose anything other than "joystick" and they have the button functionality I want. |

I am going to include several profiles for X45/X52 sticks with the release of the game. If any of you would like to release a profile for your sticks that can be used by other users for that stick, please let me know... CAG out... |

A refurbished Saitek X52 or X45 is the cheapest and best stick and throttle setup... |
