Well, I tried not to be a noob. I have been reading up on this website and forum for hours and hours, so I'm pretty sure that my question has NOT been answered. I think my question is simple enough, how do I convert the .xmi files (the USNF 97 ones) into something playable? I don't care which format because converting it from something recognizable into something else is easy. But I've searched high and low. Can anybody help me? Thanks |

I believe they are the same format as FA music files. Why do I want them? Nostalgic reasons, nothing else. I'm just weird like that |

Good ol' USNF music (even in midi) is what I too miss the most! |

Never flew it so I cant say I could miss it... However, if the files are not identical then they will be no benefit to you, as FA calls music by filename. I have never worked with the XMI files so I cant help you. Perhaps Zephyr or Kap can help out... |
