good news, you can get FA to run flawlessly under 64-bit windows 7 OS. all you have to do is create a batch file with the following code and place it in your FA folder. obviously you have to run the batch file instead of the EXE.

Code:
taskkill /f /IM explorer.exe
cd C:\JANES\Fighters Anthology
FA.EXE
pause
start explorer.exe
exit


There is no solution for FA Toolkit under windows 7 64-bit at the moment since it is a 16 bit application.

I hate to tell you this, but this was already told to use (about FA) by the 77th a few months back.

What we didnt know was whether FATK would run or not...

The 77th has a batch file nearly identical to yours...

what sale im just getting the word out. few months back i started an unresolved thread here in which i complained of not being able to run FA under 7 x64. now i got it working for me and thats all that matters.

I've been pulling my hair out since vista's release trying to get the video to be better than "EGA", stupid pink, white, all those horrible colours all over.

didn't think just killing explorer would work..

btw does anyone of you still get graphical mess like that poster above me said even after killing the explorer? if yes then did you overcome that? please tell me how

Haven't seen any poor video. Yet. (new machine just last week) however, First time I've been able to max out the res. in many years.... :)

However, that said, some crashing of the app after a bonehead moves on occasion do occur. the relaunching, explorer, then FA via *.BAT hasn't produce any other errors. save for more bonehead maneuvers.

Something I don't mind dealing with for now. But no. No C64 graphics...
