Why cant I keep PSP changes to the skin pallet after I save the image in FATK? It just overwrites it back to the original pallet after save...

Hm... Do you know if PSP supports 'indexed' bitmaps? That's how these old images work. If it doesn't, The GIMP does (Free as in beer and freedom/freiheit/vrijheid) (http://www.gimp.org/)

Either way, what version of PSP are you using?

Cheers,

GIMP is the GNU Image Manipulation Program, it's an open source application that gives you a lot more control over what you do with an image than Paint but without the cost of Photoshop. I use it because it's free (beer and vrijheid.) It handles indexed bitmaps, exports them into all sorts of fun formats, even C headers. Give it a shot, see what you think. The interface is a little different but once you've used it for a while it just kind of works.
