Why cant I keep PSP changes to the skin pallet after I save the image in FATK? It just overwrites it back to the original pallet after save... |

Hm... Do you know if PSP supports 'indexed' bitmaps? That's how these old images work. If it doesn't, The GIMP does (Free as in beer and freedom/freiheit/vrijheid) (http://www.gimp.org/) Either way, what version of PSP are you using? Cheers, |

I am using the older version PSP 7... It works great and is paid for! lol... What is GIMP? |

GIMP is the GNU Image Manipulation Program, it's an open source application that gives you a lot more control over what you do with an image than Paint but without the cost of Photoshop. I use it because it's free (beer and vrijheid.) It handles indexed bitmaps, exports them into all sorts of fun formats, even C headers. Give it a shot, see what you think. The interface is a little different but once you've used it for a while it just kind of works. |
