btw does anyone of you still get graphical mess like that poster above me said even after killing the explorer? if yes then did you overcome that? please tell me how

Haven't seen any poor video. Yet. (new machine just last week) however, First time I've been able to max out the res. in many years.... :)

However, that said, some crashing of the app after a bonehead moves on occasion do occur. the relaunching, explorer, then FA via *.BAT hasn't produce any other errors. save for more bonehead maneuvers.

Something I don't mind dealing with for now. But no. No C64 graphics...

what videocard and driver do you use?

K, You'd better sit down. perhaps with some yummy poutine

guess it's nothing special (for these days) but it is an integrated ATI Radeon HD 4250 on a ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO-USB3 w/AMD's X4 955, and 8GB of ram. pretty crazy considering FA requirements back in that day.

Like I said, I've had some occasional crashing but the fact that the video is so much better. I can deal with it.

What would be cool is if I could just install FA to a flash drive and then run it off my work laptop since that has XP :).

Is there a way to do this without admin rights? Probably not and then again I might be able to sneak getting admin rights someday (again).

But then even with admin rights the flash drive would always have to come up with the same drive letter right?

Used the batch file and had no graphical issues thus far on my Win 7 system. My only problem is that the game runs incredibly fast. I attempt a single role and do about 3. :? Is there any way to get the game to run at a slower speed?

Did you run the patch after you installed FA?

Remove FA. Delete all folders and files associated. Restart. Run reg cleaner software, and clean system. Restart. Install FA. Do not run yet, install patch 1.02. Restart. Use the trick indicated in the first post of this thread. Enjoy FA ;)
