Siiiiiiiick, way to texture it up man. Here's some of the work I've done while you've been away... http://www28.brinkster.com/fanthology/fatextures.html By the way one thing all my screens are missing is improved textured land/water. If someone doesn't mind letting me borrow some strictly for taking screenshots I'd appreciate it if you e-mail them to hutchisonj@hotmail.com. Anyway Speedy, this stuff looks great I just suggest taking some better shots with the sun not blaring so hard down on the nice looking birds. Later Jimbo (aka Suppressor from Cent's 57th squad) |

Speedy, Funny, I thought you said you were not going to use any FA Futures Graphics? I see graphics from my EF-2000 pit in the first pic, that is clearly my canopy with the pilot in the mirrors, even the horizontal lines in the mirror I added to give it a 'reflected' look, I know the mirrors are freeware, but not modified in the EXACT same pixel for pixel match as I created in FA Futures. http://www32.brinkster.com/redbearfa/Boom.jpg Hell you even copied my changed HUD missile tracking circle... Also my SU-27/33/35/37 pit canopy frame that I got specific permission from Aeyes to use as long as it was not freely distributed, mixed with the graphics on the actual pit guages and CRT from my MiG-29/SU-27/33 pits, plus the HUD frame... Hell you can even still see the pixels of blue around the edges of the HUD itself that you did not clean up in this pic. It is easy to see with the nose pointing towards the ground... Ether that or you pieced these screenshots together.. And that means these are not real screenshots, because there would be no specs of dark blue(looks like FA original ocean blue color) in that area around the HUD. Why else is their that 'super imposed' look to the F-16 cockpit? The 'whitened' edging around the actual section of the F-16 HUD frame? http://www32.brinkster.com/redbearfa/J11Cockpit.jpg http://www32.brinkster.com/redbearfa/F16Cockpit.jpg Christ man can't you ever think of anything on your own? The least you could of done was be honest when I asked you directly! I was just waiting for you to start off lying again. You havent changed one bit. Still totally worthless screenshot copier, graphics stealer... If anyone doubts this, then fire up FA Futures and fly the birds I am talking about and look at their cockpits.. Hell you can even go to the FA Futures screenshots section at my own brinkster site and see some of these same pits... http://www33.brinkster.com/fafutures/VN ... h-PG1.html OK Cent you and I had a long talk about this just about a week ago. You said then you did not support Red Bear using copied FA Futures graphics. Now that he said straight forward that he was not going to use any FA Futures graphics, what do you ahve to say?... |

To BT Ace: Yes, it is Taiwan vs China... To Jimbo: Sorry, get back to you later, I just HAVE to respond to the bottom post... To CAG: Yikes! I didn't really notice that about the mirror part, and I will definitely change the cockpit, (Given your permission of course) thanks for reminding me... it just somehow slipped my mind and I am VERY sorry about it. If you do NOT wish to see it AT ALL in other "3rd party" LIBs, I strongly insist you tell me NOW. However, I did NOT copy your "changed HUD missile tracking circle", that I drew on my own, pixel by pixel. Nobody said you can't draw a circle by yourself! Give me a break! This accusation was kind of overboard, but whatever... In the meantime, the Su-27 cockpit happens to be freeware from a Flanker 2 website, as well as the cockpit gadges. The blue edges did not come from YOUR library, (I just tried to make it look very much alike, perhaps we have similiar sources) it came from not cutting and pasting it well from the FREEWARE sources! I think your are strongly effected by the things that I used to do (I am very sorry for them, truly) If it happens to be illegal to use freeware, then I suggest you should also tell me ASAP! I had absolutely no idea about this. And there is no way I pieced the screenshots together. What is the frigging point to doing that? The only real reasons why you see specs of dark blue or the 'whitened' edging is simply because I didn't do a very good job of cleaning up the cockpits! Couldn't you even think of this simple explanation?! I did all this work in a window of 3 days! How detailed do you think I can get so far! I can't even understand what you meant by 'whitened' edging, but I guess it has something to do with copying. "Christ man can't you ever think of anything on your own? The least you could of done was be honest when I asked you directly! I was just waiting for you to start off lying again." This is simply insane! Except for the Euro frame (Which I will change) I started from scratch! This phrase really ticked me off, but I think I can understand that you have your reasons, you're a very smart guy. (Truly, you just get emotional easily... so do I -_-) There is no way on earth I want to repeat the old "FTRON" fights. Now, I am going to start over with you. I am requesting... 1) Permission to use the pilot reflection 2) Permission to use YOUR mirror reflection 3) For you to use an open mind when thinking about things 4) Peace of mind You obviously have the right to refuse ALL of these, if you wish. It's up to you, I just ask you to really think about this. <S> -Speedy Here we go again... back to the friendly good ol' FA world... |

I plead the fifth. I got more important things to worry about than this. If Red Bear took Futures stuff w/o permission then I gotta say it was wrong...if he got em from somewhere else like F4.0 or whatever then it's outta my realm. Hell what do you want me to say Cag though you and I spoke of this I iterated that it was between the two of you...I support a free open source FA as I said, while I do not look too kindly on stealing stuff from LIBs I have taken stuff out of CWF without permission before. Like I said Cag, I just dun give a sh** anymore.. |

Speedy wrote: -Speedy This is simply insane! Except for the Euro frame (Which I will change) I started from scratch! This phrase really ticked me off... Here we go again... back to the friendly good ol' FA world... Well if you didnt steal, cheat, and lie about things perhaps then you would be better welcomed. But when you simply ignore facts and lie your ass off... Well lets see... You are saying that the cockpit graphics are freeware... Then why is the canopy frame from Aeyes? The one from Flanker is a solid color and smooth. No screw detail, no texturing. Its an exact copy of how I modified it, with Aeyes permission, to FA. You took it from a screenshot, just like you do all your graphics. You have no honor. I could care less if you are pissed off or not. You cant even get your own lies straight. Aeyes does not make pits for Flanker, so that pit didnt come from flanker. The actual texturing for it came from FA Futures. Shall I take the screenshots and add pointed arrows to the areas where you took it from FA Futures? Do you really think people are so stupid as to not see it? This is Flanker 2.0... This is in FA Futures... http://us.f1.yahoofs.com/groups/g_3288470/FA+Futures+Screenshots/SU-33-Pit-Full.gif?bcPziy.AO7OkqT62 THis pic is from an early shot which does have the FLanker 2 canopy frame prior to updating to the tectured graphics. The mirrors are from the MiG-29 cockpit... The HUD is totally different then the one in FLanker 2.0, It has no texture detailing also...(see pic below) the hosing covering the wiring to the HUD isnt even in Flanker 2.0. In Lomac its tan, not the EXACT same graphic that is on my HUD. In Flanker 2.0 it isnt even there (see pic, open eyes) The compass isnt even from Flanker 2.0... The texturing of the framing of the cockpit instrument wall is also from Futures. Does it look anything like what is in the Flanker pic? It is time to be honest and remove the copied graphics and create your own. Again I have additional graphics I have never used that I can send to you. You dont HAVE to copy my stuff. I never understood why you insist on doing it when I offer your comporable graphics that are unique and would not be used anywhere else, yet you ignore them and use screens of FA Futures. to answer your questions.. 1) Permission to use the pilot reflection <--- Yes, BUT only if you create your own mirrors and not cut and paste mine in and as Cent is always so quick to point, out give credit for it to the proper source, however this is not permission to cut and paste the mirrors in, nor the 'reflective' graphic. Make yours look totally different or use a different idea or graphics... 2) Permission to use YOUR mirror reflection <--- I prefer no.. You are not using a reflection in the copied SU-27 pit mirrors so I would prefer you just dont use them on other pits. However you MUST remove these graphics, as you have no permission to use them or distribute them. 3) For you to use an open mind when thinking about things <--- I do when I am not lied to, you should of learned this already. 4) Peace of mind <--- I have it, (well mostly!) as long as I am not lied to. |

since we're SORTA on this subject, how does one acces the HUD graphics themselves, the pitch ladder and seeker boxes and such? I've looked but never found them. |

Unfortunately they are hard coded into the game. We would need source doce to alter them... |

so those big "seeker circles" are just drawn onto the HUD glass? |

Post subject: | Re: Some screens of my newest Project... |
Yes they are, but the beauty of them is that they truly represent the seeker limitations of my AMRAAMs.. I modeleld the AMRAAM tracking seeker to perform max capabilities within that narrow seeker area, thus I picked that specific size for the circle... It isnt just eye candy, its functional.. |

I can only make them a certain size and then when I turn my head past a certain point the rest of the cockpit (Namely the left and right instrument panels) disappear... I noticed in FA Futures some of your big planes had very large cockpits... |

Post subject: | Re: Some screens of my newest Project... |
I hex edited the HUD file and increased the viewing size. That i why I think I will be able to create a completely circular cockpit views with external views of the aircraft, like in Falcon 4.. Views of the wings and tail and the ejection seat... |
