The next time I have inspiration, motivation, and free time, I will make another campaign. I hope you enjoy the two campaigns I've made.

Thanks,

Hmm, unzipped the file into my FA folder but nothing seems to be working.

1. Did you check the "Start New Campaign" section? I built a 40 mission Campaign.

Also, it dawned on me after reading your message, that I have Windows ME. Assuming you did nothing wrong, perhaps this is an issue for Windows XP and up users that I know nothing about.

Is anyone else having problems? Can anyone else help?

You are using Windows ME? That hasn't been a supported operating system for over 7 years! Support for Windows ME ended on July 11, 2006...

Yes, I'm fully aware of that. Luckily, thanks to KernelEx, I've been able to continue to use ME on the internet. I have no intention of updating either. The car I drive was built in 1985, and I can still drive it on the road. Why can't I not surf the internet highway with an old operating system?

I have been losing interest with the internet over the last few years anyways, so once I can no longer get on with my old system, I'll probably just call it quits (with the internet). The wife has a newer computer in case I need to order from Amazon or eBay.

I also have been on over-the-air antenna since 2000, and have never owned a cell phone, I-junk, mp3 players, etc... When I quit cable tv, the monthly bill was $54. So, 161 months x $54 = $8,694 savings (minimum). I'm one of those buy what you need; get your dollars worth out of it kind of person.

Anyways, that's a little insight into me.

You are asking a Senior IT Security Specialist why cant you surf the internet with an old, unsupported, out of date operating system? Seriously?

The list would be to long to reproduce here...

We are all playing an old, unsupported, out of date flight sim.

Besides, I thought we were talking about the Taiwan Campaign; not IT politics.

Speaking of campaigns, I recently did a rework of my aircraft on FA. Then I went through the Israeli Campaign 2001 I created in 1998 and updated the missions to match the capabilities of my aircraft. Some who may not have liked the old campaign because it was based on "unrealistic" weapons load/fuel consumption may find the updated campaign more to their liking.

I have sent the zip file to Zephyr for approval & upload.

Update on Israeli Campaign v2.

The F-15A I sent in the zip file uses AIM-9L as default ordnance. If you use the F-15A I sent, then you need to either create an AIM-9L, OR you can open the F15A.PT file, scroll down to the bottom and change AIM9L.JT to AIM9M.JT.

Any other bug reports would be greatly appreciated.

Update on Israel Campaign.

I did a QA check on Israel Campaign v 2.0 and found some glitches. I made fixes and submitted v2.1 to Zephyr.

I just finished a 40 mission campaign with Greece - Turkey fighting in 1997. The file has been e-mailed to Zephyr (provided I still have the right address). I tested it on a virgin FA install to make sure I had all the necessary files, however, I did make a couple minute changes since. If there are any problems, feel free to let me know. The zip file has a ReadMe.txt file in it.

I was tempted to use some of CAG graphics for the aircraft, but decided to opt out.

Enjoy!

My, how times have changed in the past 10 years since posting that.

I still use Windows ME, but rarely for internet.

Use my 'smart phone' and wife's now Win 10 computer to do vast majority of internet stuff.

Sold my 1985 Camaro in 2018 (drove my wife's old car for a year until purchase of new car). The money saved not having cable tv paid for atleast half of my new car in 2019 ($25,000). (Math: $25,000 divided by 226 months = $110/month)

Taiwan was the 2nd campaign I built. Now, I need to look in my notes to count them all up
(10 originals; 5 rebuilds of defaults; a new original on the way).

I have two websites and a youtube channel, both of which I never imagined doing.

And, thanks to Centurian's Discord, there is a growing, renewed interest in Fighters Anthology.
