Hello,

I tested fighters Anthology on Windows 8.1 Pro X64 and it works by setting the compatibility mode Windows 95.

By updating directx I could put windows xp sp3 compatibility mode and it seems much more stable to play fighters anthology.

I tried running it in Win XP SP3 compatibility mode but still had some crashing/freezing. I'll keep trying options to see if I can improve stability with my configuration.

in my setup I last updated directx 11 on windows 8.1(missing Files for PC games) and I have in Control Panel / Programs / Programs and Features: Microsoft visual c++ 2005_2008_2012 redistributable x86 & x64...I have an AMD FX processor & Radeon graphic card ATI HD 6800 ... I think I have the Microsoft framework 4.0 or higher installed too.Maybe is it a hardware issue?

Fighters Anthology seems to be stable by setting default in Windows 95 compatibility mode with 2 other computers than mine...(with Windows 8.1 Pro X64 installed)

Check whether your graphics card drivers are up to date as well as directx for better compatibility.

Windows 10 will be available late 2015 and we'll see if Fighters Anthology works always in compatibility mode.

This still locks up and freezes... On Win8.1 but it runs fine on Win10. FA (especially libed and nocd exe) is not compatible with these newer operating systems unless you have a very stable version running on an existing older system and simply copy it over to the new system instead of installing it...
