Ok, this is an idea for a campaign. Early 2006, Vladimir Putin is assassinated and replaced by an anit-west communist sympathizer. The Chinese by this point are heading towards a more western government and therefore cannot really be considered a communist state any more. in 1905 the Russians were defeated in the Russo-Jap war. Since this is 2006 we can somewhat say that Russians have 'rebuilt' their economy and have the resources to build up a war machine (again...). So to get back at the west for and get back at Japan it invades the island nation. The Japanese Government calls for help once Sapporo gets overrun and the US Navy comes in to save the day. You take the side of either the Japanese or the US Navy. I'm currently working on a JASDF, JMSDF LIB and it ought to be finished shortly. I am however not sure when I'll finish the map, which is vital to the whole thing. -Radical_D |
