Still doing occasional work on the FAF Winter Korean War Map... Added some detailed Port Facilities on the coastal city tiles and populated them with buildings, cranes, warehouses on the Wharfs, larger warehouses ashore, fuel tank farm, etc... There are maintenance facilities as well as a separate military and civilian area within the port. Barracks, water tower, and bunkers make this an armed port with a garrison able to defend itself from attack...

Ships come and go in the port independently of all other mission activity on the map so you get additional realism when overflying the area on a mission... This allows ships in the harbor to not only be more realistic, but also allows those ships with weapons to engage any targets that come within their range separately from whatever mission requirements the player adds to his missions. In this way you get more of a benefit from all allied forces as you would in a real conflict...

The port is large and even has night warning lighting of the shoal areas and the buildings are integrated to locations on the map where the pilot would see the outline of buildings on the tiles when to far away for the individual building shapes to show, again to increase additional realism. There is additional space to add further detail to the port if the player wants to make it the centerpoint of his mission... Also the item numbers on the map with these added do not impact single or multiplayer mission item numbers. So far stability is unaffected...

Awesome work! I never played the earlier FAF builds so I don't know what was included. Will this include some of the export aircraft in the RoKAF and JASDF like the F-15K and F-4EJ?

Yes all aircraft that the countries involved (PRC - China, Italy, Greece, Japan, North Korea, Russia, South Korea, UK, US, RoC - Taiwan, and Turkey) in the war were represented... I had built many of them and then had to redo them when I figured out how to do advanced shape and compressed skin editing including landing gear location and detail...

My aircraft have very detailed cockpits and skins as well... Same for the weapons... all new detailed shapes and skins ... New ships, airfields, land and sea based defense systems, ground forces with detailed tanks, artillery, IFVs, and APCs (with moving turrets like in the screenshot of the Challenger 2 below)... Nothing like what had been seen in FA before... And as you can tell highly detailed scenery...

Just never got the work completed... Stability issues and the mass migration of those helping me, on wards to their future lives, left me with much half completed work so I slowly still slog thru in my little spare time...
