So I just made us a Discord server for FA. Discord is a neat (and free) app that can be downloaded or used in a browser. It allows for chat and voice activity. It's the natural progression of IRC really and I figured why not. If anyone wants to join it's fully open (registration is not required). Who knows, maybe it serves as a place to keep the community alive. I am assuming that we can still play multiplayer via TCP/IP connect and if so I made some voice chat channels for flights.

I invite you to hop on and enjoy. We can chat about a multitude of things.

It is not intended to replace this or any other message board for the record.

I can attest on using voice chat on other servers that it is reliable. Discord can be something of a memory hog but then again what isn't nowadays. I find the client to be better than the browser.
