CAG or Anyone

Did the NVAF us Po 2 biplanes in the Vietnam War?
If they did, the aircraft might be a good addition to Vietnam missions.
That is if one could be built.

Best Regards,
Pappy

As far as I can see they didn't use it **but** there were An-2s.

No Po2s Pappy... Nor would it be easy to make an open cockpit biplane.

Thought I would ask.
I checked it out too, NVAF had no PO 2s.

Best Regards,

Pappy that is Russian... The Vietnamese did not have a red star...

They did a yellow star on a red background with a yellow circle and yellow bars... Kind of a playoff of the USAF and PLAAF insignia...

That post with PO 2 picture was from usnraptor, not me. :?
I know the difference between a Soviet red star roundel and NVAF roundel.

Best Regards,
Pappy
