It seems everytime I try to run the Ukraine campaign, I get a "Cannot load video mode 1" message when it tries to play the initial campaign briefing cutscene. Note, I'm running FA on Windows 10 in compatibility mode. Is anyone else encountering this problem?

Thank you for the help. I wish I could still see the videos to get the full experience. I still have a working Windows XP machine so I guess I'll have to use that.

It's interesting because the Vietnam campaign intro still plays fine on my Windows 10 PC.

I still use my Pentium 3 Windows ME machine quite often. I installed a virtual drive program to allow full function of the cd-rom info without needing to use the cd drive.

I have no issues playing all the videos.

Ahh. I also still have the FA Reference CD but that won't load on any machine I currently have.

A virtual drive program will open ISO and allow you to use it as if you had a real CD-rom and drive.

I'm guessing there is something similar for Win 10 systems.

Even with W10 I've used Daemon Tools if it has an internal virtual drive I'll have to figure out how to access it but I never looked.
Stick stuck in those "old ways"

The program I use is called Virtual Clone Drive. Two of the executable files have the word Daemon in their name.

In response to the old ways comment, I'll refer to Airwolf episode Moffett's Ghost when talking about sex: the girl says "Perhaps, but like Dom says, we still dig holes with shovels."

Doing a little grave digging but that's because I just looked this up and need to do it.
