The shape looks great. FYI: I used to live near the USAF Museum from 12 to 18 years old. Once I turned 16, I'd go every 3 months. That was around when the F-4 cockpit first arrived. Now I go every two years and spend two full days there. |

I was lucky enough to see the XB-70 fly in as a young child, then again to the current Museum site, but most displays were still outside then. |

I haven't gone because my buddy and I made a promise not to go without one another. Fun fact, one of my two best friends, we met playing FA when we were 13 and kept in touch. I was his best man and he would have come to mine to be a groomsman had COVID not happened. |

So, one of you is about 12 years younger than I, and the other about 8 - 12 years older I'm guessing. My first visit was in 1986 or 87 ? It was just the two buildings and the cafeteria, and you took an Air Force bus over to the Annex. I remember the B-52 was outside (along with many others). I don't remember seeing the Valkyrie prior to the new building being built (1988), but I have seen the footage of it being towed down the street from old to new museum. I did have a huge lapse of visitation. From 1999 to 2017. If you ever go, and want to stay in a very nice, clean hotel, check out the Mills Park hotel in Yellow Springs, OH. You can take Dayton - Yellow Springs road pretty much directly to the museum, avoiding a lot of traffic. https://www.millsparkhotel.com/ Be advised, Yellow Springs is an uber liberal town. Not San Fran or Seattle liberal, but very liberal for Ohio. In fact, Dave Chappelle is a resident. |

I'm sure I saw it (unless it was in the annex), but it didn't leave a big impression on me until I saw the "6 pack" in the back, once it was in the new (1988) hanger. I still remember saying "Hey Dad, this one has six engines. " The B-1A , also white, was sitting where the Valkyrie is in the picture you posted. The Streak Eagle and A-10 was next to it. |

Do you have that scanned by chance? The link on my website marked 'Military Flight Manuals II', that guy collects brochures like that too and would probably post it if you sent a copy. |

CAG Are you going to put the Mig19 in camo in the picture you posted of it? It is a very dramatic camo pattern, Wow! Just curious. Best Regards, Pappy |

That camo pattern would not be difficult to create as it is very close to the default FA camo pattern, but the quality of the skin file is very low as its an overlay skin instead of a paneled skin, so it will never look anywhere as nice as the real thing. |

If I tried to lay it flat on the scanner it would break the spine. Its barely held together as it is... |

Update: I did not work on this at all last week due to the tenuous power situation here during the cold snap. This week I will also be to busy to work on this due to needing to help my clients recover what's left of their infrastructure... Look for updates next week. CAG out... |
